About

This site is a bit of a dumping ground for thoughts and findings - mostly about Ruby, Postgres, geospatial and some coffee thrown in, too. I have enjoyed working with Technology in the specialty coffee sector. Niche, right? I now still work with Technology but not in the coffee industry.

I enjoy coffee (thankfully), analytics, ETL, disparate systems integration, all things geospatial (though I don't do too much of that of late). I primarily work with Ruby and PostgreSQL, because that's what I'm used to, but have been exploring Go to replace some parts of Ruby to optimise for speed and memory footprint.
